Weeks after the agitation for the Jan Lokpal Bill, Team Anna has now challenged the Congress in the electoral field. Team Anna is campaigning against the Congress in the Hisar by-polls.
Anna Hazare has issued a video appeal to the people of Hisar to not vote for the Congress in the upcoming by-polls.
"We have appealed to people in this polls. Congress should be defeated as it has failed to bring Jan Lokpal Bill," he said in the ten-minute CD named 'The Government of the Corrupt'.
The by-polls are slated for October 13 and from Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia will be in Hisar campaigning against the government.
Arvind Kejriwal has also appealed to the people of Haryana not to vote for Congress party.
"Congress should be taught a lesson," he said.
Kiran Bedi will also join the campaign later.
